Never in his wildest dreams did Tim Baker ever see himself as an author, despite his futile attempt at writing a novel called Full Circle in 1988.
Ironically, it was a wild dream that thrust him into the role almost twenty years later.
In April of 2007, six months after moving from Rhode Island to Florida, Tim had a dream about two old friends and a box of sunken gold bars.
The dream was like any other dream…bizarre, surreal and totally void of context.
The next day Tim obsessed over the dream. Before long he began creating a story to go along with it and when he got home from work that night he sat down at his computer, with nothing more than a crazy idea, and began typing.
He started his narrative with “The whole thing started with a dream.”
With those words his writing career was born.
His first novel, Living the Dream, was released in August, 2009.
He followed up with Water Hazard in December, 2010.

2012 saw the release of No Good Deed (the sequel to Living the Dream).
Unfinished Business followed in 2013 and Eyewitness Blues came out in 2014.
Also in 2014, Tim released a collection of short stories featuring his enigmatic anti-hero, Ike, called Path of a Bullet.
He has also contributed three short stories to critically acclaimed horror anthologies and has co-authored two zombie novellas.
Tim’s books are best described as fast-paced, tongue-in-cheek thrillers. The primary setting for his stories is Flagler Beach, Florida and his characters are, more often than not, very…colorful.
The New York Indie Review had this to say about Tim’s work…

“Reading Baker is like vacationing in Florida with a pal who knows his way around the beautiful beaches, and under the slimy rocks where the dregs of society are housed.”

Now, with five years and ten books to his credit, Tim’s next project will be to breathe life into the ill-fated project he began before he had that dream…
…Full Circle is planned for release in 2015.
