The Inspired Mic Spotlight – Nancy Tania

I asked Inspired Mic presenters to send me a little something about themselves and what they write. I gave them free reign to pick and choose material about themselves that would be informative and promotional. As The Inspired Mic grows, potential audience participants would like to know something about those who steel their nerves and get up in front of a live audience to present their creativity. In the following days leading up to the October 21st event, each of the October readers who send me their info will be In the Spotlight:

My name is Nancy Tania. I am a new but permanent addition to the monthly Inspired Mic.  When I am not managing the local pool store, I am working on a variety of creative works, with the most focus on becoming a published Author of my first fantasy story within 2015. My ultimate goal is to have this story made into a 3-D movie.

At the next Inspired Mic, I will be reading a poem or two from a collection I’ve started called “Human Chemistry.” The catalyst for this was my first Inspired Mic. One is an introduction so that the group can kind of see the “Inner Nancy,” a complex and creative soul who has been through a lot in life; but ALWAYS relentlessly accomplishes everything she sets out to! The other is about how society has changed over the years and we are constantly shifting to accommodate the new technologies and trends.

I will be creating a website & facebook page for my book once that turning point becomes necessary. Currently my only social media is Instagram.  Besides the infinite polishing of my diamond in the rough, I also do some creative consulting for a motivational speaker, and I dabble in acrylic painting for fun and energy release.

I have been a writer for most of my life, but I was not going to pursue a career in writing until I made “literary gold.”
